Mtre Cristina Mageau

Mtre Cristina Mageau completed her Bachelor of Laws at the Université de Montréal and her Common Law degree at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. She practiced as a litigation, employment and labor law attorney in a regional law firm located in the province of Québec for twelve years. During those years, she also acted as head partner of the Investigation Department. She has conducted several investigations both in the private and public sectors and under both federal and provincial jurisdictions. She holds an accreditation from the Barreau du Québec as a lawyer conducting investigations following psychological harassment complaints in the workplace and as a mediator in civil, commercial and workplace matters. She completed a sexual misconduct investigation training approved by the National Association of Clery Compliance Officers and Professionals and is trained in accordance with the Trauma-Informed approach. Mtre Mageau also completed a civil, commercial and workplace mediation seminar at the Université de Sherbrooke and acts as a mediator in civil, commercial and workplace related matters. Mtre Mageau teaches at the École du Barreau du Québec ethics as well as labour and employment.

Mélanie Lévesque

LL.B., paralegal

Mélanie Lévesque completed her Bachelor of Laws at the Université de Montréal in 2021. She joined CMlex conseil inc. in 2023 as a paralegal. She practiced as an insurance advisor certified by the Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec. She also has prior training in IT. Rigorous and organized, she assists investigators in their investigations and carries out jurisprudential research.

Mtre Claire-France Mercier

Me Claire-France Mercier a œuvré pendant plusieurs années auprès d’un organisme public ayant comme mission la promotion des droits et des obligations en matière d’emploi. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, elle a accompagné et représenté sa clientèle devant les tribunaux, ainsi que lors de nombreuses négociations en matière de droit du travail. Au cours des années, ses interventions dans de nombreux dossiers de litiges, liés à l’emploi, lui ont permis de saisir toute l’importance d’intervenir en amont afin de prévenir les litiges et les différends en milieu de travail. Convaincue qu’une gestion saine des relations de travail et qu’un climat respectueux sont bénéfiques, à la fois pour les organisations et les individus qui y travaillent, elle a développé un intérêt marqué pour les meilleures pratiques en matière de relations du travail et les alternatives à la judiciarisation des conflits. Membre du Barreau depuis 2008, Claire-France est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en droit civil. Elle est également médiatrice, arbitre en matière civile et commerciale et enquêtrice en harcèlement psychologique accréditée par le Barreau du Québec. Elle a complété un microprogramme de deuxième cycle en santé organisationnelle à l’Université de Sherbrooke et y poursuit actuellement un D.E.S.S en santé globale au travail, incluant un volet en gestion des invalidités.

Mtre Julie Cyr

Mtre Julie Cyr has acted exclusively as a neutral and impartial third party since the beginning of her career. She has a rich and varied professional experience with public and private organizations in various sectors of activity. Member of the Barreau du Québec since 2016, Mtre Cyr is accredited by her professional order as a lawyer leading investigations of psychological harassment in the workplace and as a mediator in civil, commercial and workplace matters. She also holds a certificate in criminology from the Université de Montréal. Previously, Mtre Cyr managed a specialized investigation team for one of the largest cities in Canada. She has led complex, judicial and high-profile investigations. She also worked in a provincial firm specialized in the prevention and resolution of workplace disputes as well as in a public organization whose mission is to promote employment rights and obligations.

Mtre Eirini Michali

Accredited investigator and consultant

Mtre Eirini Michali acts as a neutral and impartial third-party investigator. She is accredited by the Barreau du Québec to conduct workplace psychological harassment investigations and is trained in accordance with the Trauma-Informed approach in regard to sexual misconduct investigations. Mtre Michali has conducted several administrative investigations pertaining to events of discrimination and psychological and sexual violence on behalf of higher education establishments and employers in unionized and non-unionized settings. Mtre Michali completed her Bachelor of Laws at the Université de Montréal. She practiced for four years as a litigation and administrative law attorney in a regional law firm, where she contributed to the creation of the firm's Investigations Group. She also practiced in a national law firm for a year, namely in indigenous law. She has been a supervising lawyer at the Native Friendship Centre of Montreal Legal Clinic since 2019 and a volunteer lawyer at the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada since 2023.
